It appears that other clinics in different cities may have a distinct approach, as the dermatologists there seem to concentrate exclusively on facial areas, potentially overlooking the hands, feet, and other parts of the body. This specialized focus causes me some concern. Considering that my son has vitiligo on his hands and feet, and our visit is temporary, I do not believe it is necessary for us to attend this new clinic. I do not feel entirely comfortable with the prospect. Despite being a new clinic, the cost is less than 20,000 won. I am very appreciative of the excellent vitiligo treatment available in Daegu, even though it is located across the city border from my residence.
86th – 11 May
It has been quite some time since our last visit to the Daegu clinic. While the treatment itself remains consistent, what truly stands out is the profound gratitude we feel for the care my son receives here, especially after our experiences at other clinics. This clinic has proven to be exceptionally reliable in managing my son’s vitiligo, reinforcing our confidence in their specialized expertise in this area.
87th – 18 May
My son’s vitiligo has shown some improvement, as noted by both his doctor and myself. While some new spots have appeared and merged on his hand, making them more prominent, the vitiligo on his face seems to be fading. This progress is very encouraging for both my son and me as we navigate this journey.
88th – 22 May
I was contemplating that the key aspects of vitiligo treatment are consistency and patience. I reflected that this kind of persistence is beneficial for our family, though occasionally we take a taxi with the children, which greatly assists me in managing this journey.
89th – 25 May
We will need to wait until the clinic opens after our arrival at Dongdaegu train station. Previously, we were able to wait outside the train station, enjoying a bite and sitting on a bench early in the morning.
However, today, one of the children wishes to enter the clinic earlier, and the weather is warmer. We arrived an hour before the opening time, and we are comfortably waiting until our children’s scheduled treatment time.
90th – 29 May
I am curious about which part of the hand is the least treatable. The doctor informed me that hands are not a very responsive area for vitiligo treatment, and areas further from the center of the hand are less likely to improve. The skin around the nails shows very little improvement. Laser treatment is being administered both at the clinic and at home with a device called Sigmani almost every day, except on clinic visit days and the day before.
