Impression of the transferred job
My initial impression of the new role was overshadowed by a considerable amount of pre-existing anticipation; I had been pursuing this opportunity for approximately a decade. While invited to a welcoming ceremony, my recollection of the event is somewhat hazy. I received two text messages emphasizing the importance of punctual arrival (4:20 PM) in business attire.

However, I found myself standing from approximately 5:00 PM onwards, despite numerous unoccupied chairs in the hall. Neither senior staff nor organizers offered seating, instead directing new recruits to remain standing in a designated area. The ceremony commenced around 5:00 PM with a generally serious atmosphere, which I mirrored before attempting a subtle smile. Following the ceremony, I was to be escorted to my assigned position.

Upon meeting my new colleagues in the department, I observed unusual behavior. They initiated inquiries of a highly personal nature without the common courtesy of introductions, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere and raising concerns about their intentions.
