Intravenous
I must leave early this morning to queue at the clinic. I plan to arrive at the building as soon as I am ready. I hope to be first in line. When I arrived, there was only one person ahead of me. The clinic opens at 8 AM. I waited over an hour, making a list of family members who need to see a doctor. The other patients were different than usual; they were mostly parents seeking care for their children.

Soon, it was my turn. I explained my symptoms and requested an intravenous injection, which I believe will be my first. The doctor suggested a blood test if my symptoms persist next month, but since I lack the time for a return visit, I requested the blood test be done immediately, with results available in a few days.

I lay down for over an hour to receive the intravenous drip. Afterward, I felt dizzy and relaxed; I’m not sure if that was due to the intravenous fluids or simply resting for so long.
