Sunday in childcare

Hey, so I’m checking out this K care 6000 thing in Yeongchenon. Is it any good, and how does it all work? One place was short-staffed on Sundays, then I found out they *do* have a Sunday program, but not this weekend.  The second place was fine – I called Friday and they were open Sunday. I got there before 9am Sunday, but felt bad about showing up so early.

The director was really nice though! She explained everything – K care 6000 is free, but lunch is 3000 won. It’s my first time, so I’ll pack lunch. I told her I’d pick them up at 2pm, but might be a bit earlier. She said no worries, just be here before 6pm.

I picked the kids up at 2 and asked how their day was. They said it was awesome and want to go back! I’m thinking about using the program again on a weekend, but it’d be even better if the childcare was closer to home. Plus, no lunchboxes to pack – that would be fantastic! This time, it was a crazy morning making lunches and 40+ minutes to get them there.

Anyway, you should totally check it out, especially if you don’t have local childcare. I’m trying a closer kindergarten next Sunday. Hope it’s awesome! Good luck to you too.
