Okay, let’s hear a story!
It is always a pleasure when someone reads books to children. I understand that I should read to them more often, but it isn’t always easy. The Yeongcheon library offers a weekly children’s reading service.
This week, I was able to bring my children to the children’s section of the library. Fortunately, there were no other patrons, so the storyteller was able to focus entirely on my children’s book selections. It was a wonderful experience, something I rarely do with my children. My kids were delighted to hear the stories they chose.
It would be wonderful to visit here frequently to experience it. This kind of excellent parenting is widespread, but sufficient time and willingness are key. I also enjoyed listening to someone tell stories. I wouldn’t be able to take a seat without my children. Spending time with children opens the door to a world of new experiences.
