Tooth out

My son told me that one of his teeth feels loose after he bit into a peach. After checking it, it appears ready to come out. He would prefer a dentist remove it rather than trying to do it at home. dentists, as he has only gone for checkups.

I remember a family member helping me remove a loose tooth when I was young by tying a thread to it and then gently tapping my forehead. I tried this with my son, but the thread kept slipping.

He’s upset and would prefer his mother’s help. We were getting ready to go out, so we were short on time, which made it difficult to get the thread in place securely. I felt rushed. The thread should be placed under and in front of the tooth, not directly upward; however, he kept his chin down, causing the thread to slip repeatedly.

At last, his loose tooth came out after I gently removed it. He cried when he realized his tooth needed to be pulled.  He bled for a few minutes before it stopped, but he remains a little uncomfortable without that tooth. He’s going to kindergarten on the shuttle bus and told his friends about it this morning. It was a brief moment in his daily routine.
