(1) Review of Our Neighborhood Dad’s Classroom
I appreciate the organizers’ kind reminder about Saturday’s class. Their message specifying the location and necessary materials was very helpful.
I haven’t experienced a class exclusively for fathers before. Many children’s programs seem geared towards mothers and children. This class’s subject is Read Aloud with Dad.

After a short introduction to my father’s classroom, I noticed that two different classes were scheduled for the same day. My class will focus on the book “How Do You Feel?” by Anthony Browne, which explores children’s emotions and my own feelings.
I recall one of my classmates never getting angry at his children. However, the teacher then asked, “If the father never gets upset with his children, does the mother then assume the role of the ‘bad parent’?” He responded affirmatively, explaining that due to time constraints, he wanted to be a good father.

He finds it challenging to balance his work responsibilities with his family life, which causes him distress. Many fathers in the class share similar difficulties in balancing their financial obligations with their roles as good fathers.
