113th – Aug 4
It has been quite some time since my last visit to the clinic. The reason I was unable to attend my appointment last week was due to the lack of childcare for my other child, who was not accompanying me to the clinic, as it was during the summer vacation period. I am now considering whether it might be more convenient to use a home laser device instead of undertaking the challenging journey to Daegu last week.
114th – Aug 7
The weather is quite hot, and the public bus schedule does not frequently align with the 3:11 PM train schedule. Additionally, the bus timetable changes during the school summer vacation period. It is challenging to reach the clinic via public transportation in this hot weather, especially with children. This situation has unfortunately not contributed to an improvement in my son’s condition.
115th – Aug 12
The physician who attends to my son will be on vacation shortly. This week, there will only be one visit to the clinic. Typically, visits to the clinic are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, unless there are no health concerns during that week. While it is unusual to visit the clinic on Wednesdays, the overall routine remains largely consistent.
116th – Aug 17
August 15th was a national holiday that occurred on a Saturday, and today is the substitute holiday, which also happens to be a clinic day. Days such as today offer a convenient opportunity for my wife to attend the clinic rather than myself. It might be difficult for her to manage the children when she has her days off. Concurrently, I find myself in need of rest whenever she is able to take them to the clinic. What a wonderful opportunity today presents.
117th – Aug 21
It was raining lightly upon our arrival in Daegu. When we returned to Dongdaegu to catch our train home, the rainfall had intensified. These varying weather conditions will surely make for memorable moments during the clinic tour with the children.
118th – Aug 25
Yesterday and today were days off from elementary school, which presented a good opportunity to visit some clinics. We visited three different clinics for children near Dongdaegu Station. First, we went to a pediatric dental clinic. Second, I took my children to the pediatrician to get one of them vaccinated. Lastly, after lunch, we visited a dermatology clinic. I was pleased that we were able to visit all the clinics with the children as planned, though it was quite tiring after such a long day.
119th – Aug 31
It was quite a busy schedule, visiting two clinics simultaneously before catching the train home. We went to the dermatology clinic for a laser treatment and then to the dental clinic for the children. While the dermatology appointment had a predictable duration, allowing us to take a taxi to the dental clinic, the dental visit’s length was uncertain, making me concerned about catching our train, even with pre-booked tickets. I am pleased to report that all appointments were completed successfully with the children, and we did not miss our train. Although it was a tiring and somewhat nerve-wracking experience to manage all the appointments and return home safely, I am grateful for the day’s accomplishments.
