Review:Imagination Reading Performance
I anticipated a full house, though not completely sold out. It was my first time experiencing this unique form of imaginative reading, and it proved to be a wonderful experience. The narrator began by explaining the format of the show. The performance commenced with a few questions, followed by a presentation of slides related to the featured book and a brief introduction to the story.

Two books were displayed on stage, their narratives centered around teamwork. Following the narrator’s introduction, three or four performers entered the stage from the audience. They then acted out the storyline from the book, taking their seats in designated chairs on stage and reading aloud to bring the story to life. The reading was quite vivid, and the children were completely engrossed in the actors’ movements and words. The performers frequently came down from the stage to pose questions to the children, relating to the current plot points. Some of the audience members were junior high school students who were interested in this type of reading. Despite the show being geared towards children, the staff permitted them to take seats, as there were many empty ones available.

I must admit that I encountered some difficulties in accommodating young students in the audience while in busy cities, primarily due to the limited seating capacity. As a result, it was challenging to imagine their presence at the show. However, my viewpoint has since evolved. Despite the availability of numerous seats, even with online reservations, many remain unfilled. It is encouraging to see individuals, including those who are not children, requesting entry to the show through the website, which I believe is a positive development for all involved. I have observed a significant difference in my reactions between competitive environments and the more relaxed atmosphere I now experience. I feel much more comfortable in this town.

I have borrowed a book related to the show to reread. It provides a unique experience to revisit the same story through a book. Furthermore, the photo opportunities with the performers are readily available, with no long queues, making it easy to take pictures with them.
