Review:Lecture Oh han-jin

It is my first time encountering this lecture title through this special presentation, but the speaker is quite well-known to others through a television channel for discussing medical consistency. What I recall of his statements is that he typically addresses matters pertinent to older individuals.

1. saving money for future life

Individuals who invest for their retirement often provide financial support to their children for business ventures or choose to start their own enterprises. Many of these individuals face financial difficulties in their later years, experiencing ongoing financial struggles throughout their lives.

Furthermore, the duration of our lives is uncertain, and we cannot precisely predict how many years we will live. Therefore, it is advisable to save money for one’s own livelihood.

2. Please be careful not to break any bones; step cautiously

An elderly woman nearly fell while attempting to exit a seating area, but she managed to grasp a handrail just before touching the ground. The lectures emphasize the importance of not falling, as a broken bone may not fully recover, potentially impacting one’s quality of life.

3. Stress is a scar on the heart

A scar can symbolize a deeply ingrained memory, making it easier for stress to resurface if the emotional wound remains. Furthermore, these scars can predispose an individual to experiencing stress more readily, even in response to minor triggers related to their past anxieties.

4. Please prepare to live independently

It is necessary to practice living independently without the presence of others. The speaker’s father prefers purchasing instant rice rather than preparing it in a rice cooker. When an individual is left alone, they need to perform basic tasks such as housework and cooking, and even buying instant rice is preferable to having nothing to eat.
