Support for Shingles Vaccination in Yeongcheon City
For the Healthy Aging of Seniors!

□ Vaccination Period
March 1, 2025 – Until the end of the program
□ Eligible Recipients
Yeongcheon City residents who have lived there for at least 6 months and are aged 65 or older (born on or before December 31, 1960)
※ Individuals who have never received a shingles vaccine or those who have completed shingles treatment can be vaccinated 6–12 months after treatment
□ Vaccination Details
One dose of the inactivated shingles vaccine is supported (live vaccines are not allowed)
– General citizens aged 65 and older: Vaccine cost is partially supported (Personal cost: 19,610 KRW)
– Medically vulnerable individuals aged 65 and older: The full cost of vaccination is covered
□ Vaccination Locations
Public health centers (on Tuesdays, Fridays, and designated days for basic old age pension recipients /Near poor groups)
26 designated medical institutions within the jurisdiction
□ Required Documents
– General citizens: ID card, resident registration certificate
– Certification of near poor status, ID card, resident registration certificate
