After 2weeks
I believe it would be best to discontinue the herbal medicine, as my diarrhea seems to be worsening. I am also concerned about the possibility of further indigestion. Having forgone the medicine for two weeks with noticeable improvement, and experiencing a setback after taking it yesterday, it seems advisable to use it only sparingly, if at all.

After 3 weeks
I’m experiencing indigestion again and believe I need another treatment with Korean medicine. I hope for improvement and would like to inquire about diarrhea as a potential side effect of the medication. Surprisingly, my condition improved significantly after acupuncture.

I was previously unsure about the effectiveness of Korean medicine, but I’m confident this time. I’ve tried other methods like foot baths and rest, but they didn’t alleviate my indigestion. Because I wanted to eat properly, I skipped meals, which resulted in some hand tremors and dizziness. That wasn’t helpful either. The acupuncture and cupping on my back are the only new things I’ve tried this past week. Regarding my diarrhea concerns, the doctor recommended dividing the medication into two smaller doses.

After 4weeks
It appears that the frequency of restroom visits has increased recently, compared to the previous week. While the initial issue seems to have improved, it has not completely disappeared. I have also observed a decreased appetite, even after missing two meals or potentially an entire day, which raises some concern about possible dizziness due to not eating. The symptoms seem to fluctuate; some days I experience a lack of hunger, while on others, it returns to normal.

Although it can be convenient not to have to prepare or clean up after meals, I remain uncertain about this unpredictable lack of appetite and skipped meals. It is comforting to feel hungry, as it suggests a healthy state. I am unsure when these physical changes will resolve. It is certain that after the treatment of Korean medicine, it works, but I am still experiencing some effects. I will schedule another visit to the Korean clinic for another acupuncture session.
