2025 Senior Job Opportunity: Grandparent Grandchild Care Project

Eligibility
- 40 grandparents aged 60 or older, residing in Yeongcheon City, who care for children from vulnerable families.
- Exclusions
- Workplace subscribers to the National Health Insurance.
- Participants in job projects funded by the central government or local governments.
Job Description
- Work Period: 5 months (May to October).
- Duties: Care for own grandchildren for 3 hours per day, 5 days a week.
- Salary: ₩762,000 per month (including social insurance).
Target Service Recipients
Families residing in Yeongcheon City (or other areas within Gyeongbuk) raising children under the age of 10.
- Children eligible for the program must be born on or after January 1, 2014.
Priority Groups:
- Dual-income families.
- Families with multiple children.
- Single-parent families.
- Families with disabled parents.
- Multicultural families.
Participation Restrictions
Even if families are classified as vulnerable, participation is restricted for:
- Families with parents available to care for children (exceptions are made for families with two or more children under 10 years old).
- Families receiving parental benefits.
